About the event

Through Qigong and Mindfulness, we learn how to live well, return to balance, restore connectedness with oneself and all beings, and remember we are part of nature.

At midday of mid week, a transition time, we take time to pause and transition from doing to being with mindful Qigong in nature.

It is about

  • letting the energy flow
  • Unblocking stagnation and releasing stress and tension
  • Feeling both relaxed and energised
  • Restoring the nervous system
  • Exploring the body, mind and spirit with deep listening
  • Cultivating focused attention, kind intention and open awareness
  • Reconnecting with oneself/others and nature

No Qigong or mindfulness experience required.

These winter sessions happen both indoor in the classroom at the Ecology Centre and sometimes out in the park when the weather is inviting.

This is part of a weekly Qigong programme at Gillespie Park/Ecology Centre. 

Three sessions in December on Wednesdays and it restarts on Thursday 11th January.

To keep the programme running, secure the booking of the classroom and support someone who may not be able to pay to join, you are invited to sign up for a block of 8 weeks with a contribution of £80. Thank you for your generosity. 

Due to the size of the classroom, places are limited.
